Week 10 is a strange week
where there isn’t a ton of value and the high-end players have the same upside as the mid-range players. It’s a good week to go with the mid-tier guys and build a balanced
lineup. Here are some running backs to look at:
Darren McFadden
Getting all the carries he can handle and tons of receptions
out of the backfield, McFadden is a lock to see 25+ touches vs Tampa Bay this
Sunday. McFadden score 14 and 15 fantasy points (.5 ppr) against the stout run
defenses of the Seahawks and Eagles. Look for him to shred the Bucs this week. Projection: 20-120-1 and 4rec-45yards
Mark Ingram
He was literally an inch away from scoring a TD last week
and ended up getting vultured at the goal-line by Drew Brees… Hopefully that
doesn’t happen again this week because I have Ingram locked into all of my
Fanduel and Draftkings lineups. He is a true workhorse back and no one is
stealing his carries. He’s involved in the passing game, which gives him a high
floor, and he is always a good bet to score a TD, giving him that ceiling that
we love. Projection: 22-85-1 and
5rec-40-1
The Eagles’ offense is starting to look like the offense we
expected coming into the season. Fast-paced and run heavy, DeMarco Murray has
been getting a ton of work. If you haven’t caught on yet, I love running backs
that catch passes because they give you 3-7 cheap points off of receptions that
pads their rushing fantasy points, thus creating a higher floor. Averaging 20
carries and 4.5 receptions over his last 4 games, Murray should be a safe
option with TD upside against the leaky Miami defense in an uptempo matchup. Projection: 20-87-1 and 5rec-50
Other Options
LGarrette Blount, Doug Martin, Marshawn Lynch at home,
Giovani Bernard. If Big Ben ends up playing and DeAngelo Williams can practice on Friday, DeAngelo Williams makes for an excellent play vs CLE.
