Andrew Luck
Although he hasn't been Andrew Luck this year, the neck bearded signal call from Indy is coming off a big 300 yard, three touchdown performance. Luck will be at home against a New Orleans defense that is top five in points surrendered to the QB position by almost any scoring standards. He's not going to be a waiver add, because he's owned in all formats, but he is a DFS play worth the high price tag this week, as you are likely to see a return on your investment.
Carson Palmer
The original "Red Rifle" Carson Palmer is my number one fantasy quarterback this week. The matchup could not be any tastier with Baltimore on tap. These aren't your Ravens of yesteryear, they are downright awful. The Baltimore defense is allowing the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year. Through six games, they have allowed 11 touchdowns, and 1,830 yards, on only three picks. That comes out to an average of 305 yards, and near two passing touchdowns a game. Carson Palmer is also my play of the week for DFS. The price is right here.
Blake Bortles
He hasn't been a good football quarterback this year, but he's been a pretty solid option for fantasy purposes. In four of six games, Bortles has thrown for multiple touchdowns, and over 250 yards. Big Blake has averaged over two touchdowns, and 271 yards a contest through six games. At home against Buffalo, a defense in the top ten in fantasy points allowed in almost any scoring format, Bortles is a solid streaming option with a low fantasy price tag in DFS formats. Another note on the Jags QB, Bortles has averaged 25 rushing yards a week. A nice little wrinkle to his fantasy floor.
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Fitzmagic has thrown for at least 218 yards and two touchdowns in all but one game throughout the year. The bearded wonder journeyman QB is surrounded by weapons, with Chris Ivory coming into his own, and Eric Decker and a resurgent Brandon Marshall on the outside. Although Foxboro is not the friendliest of confines for a visiting team, the Pats defense has not been good against the pass. Ranked top ten in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, Fitzy has a good chance at continuing his success. Through five games, the Pats have allowed an average of 267 yards and just under two touchdowns a game to opposing QB's. Fitz will be a dirt cheap option in DFS, which would allow you to splurge elsewhere to bolster your lineup, and a decent streaming option in league format if you're desperate.
Ryan Tannehill
Tannehill has not been very good this year, but he's been serviceable to this point, in spite of a terrible environment which ended up in one Joe Philbin getting canned. Tanny has thrown two touchdowns in four of five games, and at least 250 yards passing in three of five games. Playing at home against a Houston defense that has allowed the sixth most fantasy points to QB's, likely makes for a solid day. Houston has allowed an average of 250 passing yards, two touchdowns and 21 rushing yards a game to opposing QB's. With Lamar Miller breaking out last week, and an emphasis on getting the ball to tight ends, this Miami offense should run considerably more smoothly. Tannehill won't be expensive on the DFS front if you fancy, and will be available in some league formats if you're looking to stream.
Honorable mention: Brian Hoyer has actually been pretty phenomenal over the course of the past three games. Although the Miami defense has been pretty decent against the past, and the Texans are playing away, Hoyer is a good streaming option if you are desperate.
