We all know that Julio Jones and DeAndre Hopkins are elite plays. Try to get one of them in your lineups if you can, but for the most part, this week is a week to pay up at the RB position and go with the mid-tier guys at WR. In this article I will evaluate my top mid-tier WR options that have a chance to put up those elite numbers that we love.

 Alshon Jeffery
Alshon is back and he is significantly underpriced and this is a week to exploit that. Alshon offers a nice floor with a ceiling that will win you tournaments. A lot of people will be scared off of Alshon because of his matchup with Vikings’ CB Xavier Rhodes, but Rhodes ranks in the bottom 5 in pass coverage for CB’s. Alshon Jeffery has scored a TD in 7 of his last 9 games. He should have 10+ targets this week and he is close to a must play for me.

Steve Smith
Can we really roster a RB and a WR from the same team without them killing each other’s value? Yes, yes we can. Justin Forsett and Steve Smith are the cheaper version of DeAndre Hopkins and Arian Foster. They get the Chargers this week who always find themselves in a shootout. Shootouts mean fantasy points. Chargers’ CB Brandon Flowers is a lot like Xavier Rhodes, he is overrated and he is getting burned this year. Steve Smith has the opportunity to put up huge numbers in this game. He is a steal at $6700

Stefon Diggs
Everyone keeps saying that they’re scared to roster Diggs because of the awful Vikings’ passing game and the low number of pass attempts, but I’m here to tell you that Stefon Diggs is safe to roster. He might not score a TD this week but he’s a good bet to see 9 targets and he’s athletic enough to produce solid numbers with those targets. I prefer Steve Smith over Diggs on fanduel but feel free to roster them both.

Mike Evans
Vincent Jackson is out, Austin Seferian-Jenkins is out, and the Bucs will most likely be playing from behind for most of this game. Mike Evans is always a TD threat and he should be targeted heavily. I like his upside this week and he should be in some if not most of your tournament lineups.

Other Options:
Antonio Brown (with big Ben back… yes please), AJ Green (he destroys the Steelers),  Nate Washington (facing his old team, should get plenty of targets).
